ROC 5 Chair - Nomination Package
Hockey New Brunswick currently has a vacancy for the ROC 5 (South East Region) Chair.
As per By-law 3.12, “In the event of a vacancy occurring on the Board of Directors from any cause whatsoever, the Executive Director shall, no later than 30 days after the vacancy has occurred, immediately proceed to have the Region elect a replacement.”
The election for the vacant position will be held virtually on Tuesday, November 25th.
As per By-law 3.1, all nominations for Regional Operating Council (ROC 5) Chair must be submitted in writing, via email, to the HNB Executive Director (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) no later than 15 days prior to the election — Monday, November 10th.
Below is a Nomination Package, which can be used to submit your application to the HNB Board of Directors. The package outlines all necessary information that must be included with the nomination, as well as details regarding the responsibilities of a ROC Chair.
The successful nominee will assume the position following the November 25th election.
The elected individual will complete the current two-year term, which concludes at the HNB Annual General Meeting in June 2027. At the end of the term, the individual may seek re-election.
