Roster Announced for Hockey New Brunswick’s Female Canada Winter Games Team 

Fredericton, NB – December 5, 2023 – Hockey New Brunswick is proud to announce, the players who will make up the 2023 Canada Winter Games Female Under 18 team. 

The Canada Winter Games will take place in Prince Edward Island from February 18 – March 5, 2023. New Brunswick will be sending twenty players to represent the province in the Female Under 18 division.

The selection of our Female team began in April with the HNB Cup, followed by the Hockey Development Festival in July / August.  The Female team then went on to win the Atlantic Challenge Cup over Thanksgiving weekend in Moncton, competing against the other Atlantic provinces.  

The Female team will have a pre-tournament training camp this month in Saint John from December 28 – 30. This event will consist of practices, team building activities, and exhibition games. The teams will also meet in Moncton in February prior to travelling to Prince Edward Island.
