Hockey New Brunswick partners with Summit Dodge and Fredericton Nissan

Hockey New Brunswick has announced a new partnership with Summit Dodge and Fredericton Nissan.

The partnership includes a 2019 Nissan Sentra being the grand prize for the Hockey New Brunswick Annual Fundraiser, as well as Summit Dodge providing Hockey New Brunswick with their company vehicle, a 2019 Dodge Caravan.

The Hockey New Brunswick fundraiser is a provincial fundraising program aimed toward keeping the cost of participation in amateur hockey to a minimum, while providing an opportunity for minor hockey players to offset their registration costs.  All minor hockey players are provided with 10 fundraiser tickets, which are sold for $3.00.each.  The deadline to submit fundraiser tickets for the 2019-2020 season is January 20th, 2020 and the grand prize, a 2019 Nissan Sentra will be presented at the UNB Men’s hockey game on Saturday January 25th, 2020.

“Hockey New Brunswick is proud to be partnering with Summit Dodge and Fredericton Nissan.  Both dealerships have been great community partners for a number of years, which has been evident through their work with sports organizations and community groups; one of which being the Dodge Caravan Kids program which provides up to $500 in funding and access to exclusive hockey benefits to Novice and Atom level hockey teams across Canada”, says Todd Pye, President of Hockey New Brunswick.

Said Geoff Daugharty, General Manager of Fredericton Nissan.  Some examples include: Fredericton District Soccer Association, Youth tennis programming at Abony Tennis Centre, Loyalists Youth Rugby Program, Junior Achievement NB, Student Hunger Program in area schools, Lady Gladiators Football program as well as many other community organizations.  “We look forward to partnering with Hockey NB to enhance the experience of youth within our communities”.
