2017 - U13 High Performance skills camp

Fredericton, NB – August 24, 2017

68 of the province’s top female players will participate in Hockey New Brunswick’s second Under 13 High Performance Skills Camp. Athletes from all over the province will gather at theGrant Harvey Centre in Fredericton for a weekend of skill development, personal development,and competition. This is the second year for this event and is open to 2005 and 2006 bornplayers as an introduction to Hockey New Brunswick’s High Performance Program. Participatingplayers will go through:

-2 Skills Practice
-1 Small Area Games and Competition Practice
-Hockey New Brunswick Skills Combine
-1 Intersquad Game

The Hockey New Brunswick Skills combine consists of 4 different skating and puck handlingdrills that will measure the speed, agility, and puck skills of the players. Player will be given theirtimes and rankings amongst their peers. Players can use the information to determine theirstrengths and weaknesses as a player, and help with their development moving forward.
