Major Midget AAA Atlantic Championship

 The best Atlantic Canadian Major Midget AAA Hockey Teams to Square off this weekend for the 2017 Atlantic Championship.

Miramichi, NB – With the Provincial Championships complete in the Atlantic Provinces the Major Midget AAA Atlantic Championship is set to take place this Thursday March 30th – April 2nd at the Miramichi Civic Centre in Miramichi, NB.

The event will host the top Major Midget teams from Atlantic Canada as they compete for the chance to hoist an Atlantic Championship as well as a birth in the Telus Cup, which is the National Midget AAA Championship being held in Prince George, BC.

The first game of the tournament will be played on Thursday March 30th at 1:00pm and the Championship Game will finish up the weekend on Sunday April 2nd at 12:00pm. The Official Opening Ceremonies will take place at the Miramichi Civic Centre on Thursday evening prior to the 8:00pm game.

Joining the Host Miramichi Rivermen at this year’s Major Midget Atlantic Championship will be the following Provincial Champions:

  • Moncton Flyers (Hockey NB)
  • Kensington Wild (Hockey PEI)
  • Cape Breton West Islanders (Hockey NS)
  • St. John’s Maple Leafs (Hockey NL)
