Hockey New Brunswick Female Hockey Commission will be hosting the first Under 13 Winter Jamboree. The Jamboree will take place at the Superior Propane in Moncton on December 29th, 2017. The event is open to all female players born in 2005 and 2006, currently registered on a Hockey New Brunswick sanctioned team.
Attached you will find an electronic postcard that as a Member you can use to create awareness of the Updated Hockey Canada Concussion Policy and Resource Toolbox.
The updated concussion policy provides an overriding statement with respect to concussion prevention, concussion recognition and responsible return to play if a player suffers a concussion or is suspected of suffering a concussion, and defines the expectations with respect to responsible steps that should be taken in these areas.

66 PLAYERS CHOSEN TO REPRESENT CANADA AT 2017 WORLD UNDER-17 HOCKEY CHALLENGE
Puck drops Nov. 5 on the international showcase in Dawson Creek & Fort St. John
CALGARY, Alta. – Hockey Canada announced its 66-player roster selected to represent Canada at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, Nov. 5-11 in Dawson Creek and Fort St. John, B.C.
The 66 players will be divided into three teams representing Team Canada Black, Team Canada Red, and Team Canada White when they compete against the Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, Sweden, and the United States in their quest for a gold medal.

DARTMOUTH, N.S. – The Team Atlantic Female Under-18 program announced today the final roster that will represent the region at the 2017 National Women’s Under-18 Championship in November.
Team Atlantic is made up of twenty players chosen from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island. The final selection took place at the 2017 Atlantic Challenge Cup in Moncton, N.B. earlier this month.

Edmundston, NB – Hockey New Brunswick recently announced that EDZA West will host the Bell Aliant Peewee AAA Atlantic Championship next spring. The Host Team for the event will be the Nord-Ouest Pionneers.
The event will be hosted at the new state of the art Centre Jean-Daigle in Edmundston from April 5th-8th, 2018.
Hockey New Brunswick Skills Development Camp Coming to Bathurst, Woodstock, Grand Falls, & Florenceville.
Hockey New Brunswick will be offering local minor hockey players an opportunity to take part in a Hockey New Brunswick Skills Development Camps being held in Bathurst (Nov 4), Woodstock (Nov 4), Grand Falls (Nov 5), & Florenceville (Nov 24).
The primary focus of the camp is centred around on-ice fundamental skills, with off-ice time scheduled for life skill enhancement in areas such as respect, fitness, and teamwork. Off-ice fitness sessions are included involving games with team work and proper stretching.

22nd Annual Atlantic Challenge Cup Wrap-Up
Moncton, NB - The 22nd Anniversary of the Atlantic Challenge Cup concluded this afternoon in Moncton, New Brunswick and it was another tremendous success. The event had everything that a hockey fan would want to see and all games were very well attended by parents, the general public and a large number of scouts who took in games over the four days.“This was another display of the talent which Atlantic Canada has to offer to the hockey world," stated Louis Gaudet, Host Committee Chairperson. "It was a great weekend of hockey for Atlantic Canada and it showed the type of talent that we have in our region. MONCTON, NB – 320 young hockey players from throughout Atlantic Canada will converge on Moncton’s Superior Propane Centre on Friday for the four day Atlantic Challenge Cup.
This is the 22nd Anniversary of the Atlantic Challenge Cup which is billed as Atlantic Canada’s High Performance Hockey Championship.
