CALGARY, Alta. – Hockey Canada announced Mike Foligno (Sudbury, Ont.) will coach Canada’s National Para Hockey Development Team for the remainder of the 2017-18 season, including the NextGen Prospects Camp and the 2018 Défi Sportif AlterGo.

Edmundston, NB – The 2018 Bell Aliant Peewee AAA Atlantic Championship wrapped up today in Edmundston, NB with the North West Pionnierswinning a hard-fought battle against theBedford Blues by a score of 6-3.
Fredericton, NB – April 12th, 2018 – Four hundred and four male and female hockey players, in 5 divisions (Male Under-14, Male Under-15, Male Under-16, Female Under-16, and Female Under-18) will be taking part in the HNB Cup this weekend in Fredericton.
The HNB Cup is an identification camp used to identify the player’s who will advance to the Hockey Development Festival this July/August in Fredericton.
The NB Central Midget Hockey League 2018 Provincial Championships are taking place this weekend, April 5-8 at the Superior Propane Center 4-Plex in Moncton.
There will be (15) teams from all over the province competing for the Provincial title in their division (AA, A or B).
Edmundston hosting Bell Aliant Peewee AAA Atlantic Hockey Championship
EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick - Edmundston will host the Bell Aliant pee-wee AAA Atlantic Hockey Championship, April 5-8. The top teams from Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick will join the North West Pioneers to compete in this prestigious hockey championship.
This tournament is played in the region for the first time in its history.

Fredericton, NB – Hockey New Brunswick is proud to announce the players who will make up the 2018 edition of the Male Under 16 team.
Team New Brunswick will be competing in the QMJHL Gatorade Excellence Challenge. The event will take place April 25th-April 29th, in Blainville-Boisbriand, Quebec.
New Brunswick will be competing against the provincial teams from Nova Scotia, PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador, and two teams from Quebec.
LANTZ, N.S. — The Moncton Flyers are Sudbury-bound to represent the region at the TELUS Cup.
Cole Stewart banged home the game-winning goal half-way through the second overtime period as the Moncton Flyers topped the Steele Subaru Major Midgets 3-2 in the Major Midget Atlantic Hockey Championship gold medal game on Sunday at the East Hants Sportsplex.
Mark Richard and Lukas Cormier had the other Flyers goals while Ben Allison and David Gagnon scored for the Dartmouth-based Steele Subaru Major Midgets.

2018 WORLD UNDER-17 HOCKEY CHALLENGE TO KICK OFF WITH CANADA-RUSSIA PRIMETIME MATCH-UP
Full event schedule, early ticket sales launch for New Brunswick-hosted international tournament
SAINT JOHN AND QUISPAMSIS, N.B. – The World Under-17 Hockey Challenge – an international showcase of some of the best young hockey talent in the world – will kick off with a primetime Canada-Russia match-up on opening day when it returns to New Brunswick in the fall of 2018. Saint John and Quispamsis will co-host the tournament scheduled to run Nov. 3-10, 2018.
Team Canada Red will meet Russia on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the qplex at 7:30 p.m. AT, following the tournament-opener at 3:30 p.m. between Finland and Sweden.
